» About Erasmus+ Placement

You can go to foreign institutions such as companies, research institutes, non-profit organizations and other (museums, libraries, hospitals, etc.)

 

Placement should be related to the area of study. In some cases, it will be an integral part of the study program (embedded in the curriculum); in others, it will give you the opportunity to acquire additional competences and skills (voluntary).

» Erasmus+ Placement - recruitment procedure in academic year 2018/19

The calls for applications for Erasmus+ Traineeships grants for the academic year 2018/2019 will be held within the deadlines of:

First call: between April 23st and May 18th 2018 - for traineeships between July 1st, 2018 and January 31st, 2019.

Following calls within the following deadlines:

  1. September 1st-20th, 2018 – for traineeships between November 1st, 2018 and March 31st, 2019.
  2. November 1st-20th, 2018 – for traineeships between January 1st, 2019 and May 31st, 2019.
  3. January 1st-20th, 2019 – for traineeships between March 1st, 2018 and July 31st, 2019.
  4. March 1st-20th, 2019 – for traineeships between May 1st, 2018 and September 30th, 2019.
  5. May 1st-20th, 2019 – for traineeships between July 1st, 2018 and November 30th, 2019.
  6. July 1st-20th, 2019 – for traineeships between September 1st, 2018 and January 31st, 2020.
  7. September 1st-20th, 2019 – for traineeships between November 1st, 2018 and March 31st, 2020.
  8. November 1st-20th, 2019 – for traineeships between January 1st, 2020 and April 1st, 2020.
  9. January 1st-20th, 2020 – for traineeships between March 1st, 2020 and April 1st, 2020.

RECRUITMENT PROCESS:

Step 1: Student should read Zasady realizacji Programu Erasmus+ Praktyki na Uniwersytecie Jagiellońskim w roku akademickim 2018/2019.

Step 2: Student completes all mentioned below documents and can start to searchs for a workplace. After postive recruitment procedure (s)he obtains Internship Confirmation filled by the host institution.

NOTE: Internship Confirmation is not mandatory while submitting your application.

Step 3: Student completes following application documents:

Obligatory:

  • Candidate’s questionnaire (questionnaire should consist of student's signature, as well as a signature of head of an institute/faculty - if applicable, and - if applicable - institute's internships coordinator);
  • CV in English or Polish;
  • certificate of grade point average issued by institute’s secretary office;
  • proof of language proficiency level (language of practice);


Optional:

  • Internship Confirmation;
  • certificates of scientific, voluntary etc. activities.

 

Step 4: Student should submit online application form available here

All the above-mentioned documents should be submitted to International Students Office, Collegium Novum, 24 Gołębia St., room 21.

Step 5: Student waits for results which should be announced by:

  • June 8th, 2018 for the first call;
  • until the last day of every month in which the call for applications is announced.

» Online Linguistic Support (OLS)

  • Erasmus+ Online Linguistic Support

    According to the guideline of Polish National Agency of Erasmus+ Programme, all participants of Erasmus+ mobility activities (studies and/or traineeships) with one of the following languages as the main language of instruction or work: English, French, Spanish, Dutch, German ,Italian, Czech, Dutch, Greek, Danish, Portuguese or Swedish must take the assessment twice — before and at the end of their mobility period.

    If among available languages there is no a language of instruction or work, the student doesn’t need to take an assessment.

    Online Linguistic Support is a tool of evaluation of language competences and improving acquaintance with foreign languages for the participants of the long term mobility in Erasmus+ Programme. OLS is available on http://ww.erasmusplusols.eu .

    Mobility Participants User Guide for Assessment is mandatory for all participants before and after the mobility –  results do not prevent participants from taking part in the mobility programme, but can be used to verify the language acquaintance before and after the mobility – the student will receive an email with results of assessment. 

    The assessment steps:

    1. Each student of the Jagiellonian University assigned to Erasmus Mobility Programme must complete the first language assessment on line before the mobility.

    2. The scholarship holder will receive an information from OLS system with the request to complete a mandatory language assessment before the mobility.

    3. At the end of their mobility period, participants will be requested to take a second assessment to assess the progress made.

    Language assessment on line consists of the following elements:

  • Language courses: menu with the possibility  of improving the competences: reading, writing, grammare, vocabulary, communicaton.

  • MOOC (Massive Open Online Course) on the level chosen by a participant

  • Tutoring: virtual classes, lectures with the teacher each two weeks (for about half an hour between 9am – 4 pm (you must be enrolled)

  • Forum: the teachers are answering on the students questions

  • Level test at the end of the course

Any technical problems of the Eramsus+ Online Linguistic Support http://erasmusplusols.eu will be sent to technical support of OLS or you can report them directly on OLS web site.
